Hello Parents! This week for math we learned more about irregular rectangular prisms and finding the volume of them in math. We also took a check-in for finding the volume. Later in the week we started to learn about finding the area of rectangles with dimensions that were fractions and mixed numbers.
In science, we learned lots about trying to find the difference
between drink more concentrated and a drink that’s less concentrated. We also got to have Kool-Aid to find the difference of the drinks. On Friday we did a lab were we saw how much salt you could put in 50 mL of water before it stopped dissolving (the saturation point)
In ELA, We are currently doing MCAS practice and are preparing
for strategies to use in MCAS. This was our first week in awhile when we didn’t have to work on our wellness essays, this is because we have finished our essays.
