Typing Websites
With technology expanding at a rapid rate, typing is becoming a skill that students (and adults) need to be proficient with. Students are expected to take the PARCC test online, which means they need to type their responses. This change has many students nervous about what this will mean for them. Here are some typing websites that will help students become quick and accurate typists.
In addition to these typing websites, other ways to help students become better with typing is to have them engage in authentic, real-life activities that involve typing, such as writing an email to a friend or family member, creating a list (shopping, to-do, etc) for themselves or a parent, typing a journal entry, or researching a topic of interest.
