Monday: In art we were working on our Day of The Dead masks.We had our first day of science. Mrs. Buffone showed us the classroom and it was really fun. In math we came along lesson five in Module 2. We learned how to multiply 2 by 2 numbers using an area module. In E.L.A. we had a party because the paperclip chain reached the ground. We had refreshments and we watched Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. We stopped half way because we didn’t have time. (She was a bad egg).
Tuesday: In P.E. we started doing 4 on 4 soccer games on the upper field. The previous week we had done skills and we showed the skills off. In math we did 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication with the area model and standard algorithm. We learned how to drop the zero to do times 2 -digit in the standard algorithm. In E.L.a. We finished Willy Wonka the movie we started yesterday at our party. Then we started finding flexible seating to put on donors choose.
Wednesday: We had a substitute. In music we finished our Halloween songs and played them on glockenspiels. Math. We did lesson 7. We are doing 3 digit times 3 digit multiplication with area models and standard algorithm. E.L.A. We worked on our rationale for our favorite flexible seating piece to try to get them on donors choose.
Thursday: In library we learned about good websites and how we know they are useful. In math we did lesson 9 Module 2. We learned how to multiply 3 by 2 numbers and 4 by 3 numbers. In science, we learned about the deadliest animals in the world. In E.L.A. we turned our rationales into an opinion and reasons.
Friday: It was a half day so we had an Assembly about Mill pond, and what we do. In E.L.A. we did kindness poems. Mrs.Kewriga gave groups words and they made poems about them.
