A Message about Science Showcase

Our students are very excited about the Fifth-Grade Science Showcase that is being held tomorrow, Wednesday, April 2 in the Mill Pond cafeteria.  Parents of fifth-grade students can drop in to visit the Showcase any time between 8:30 and 10:15 a.m.  Our team will be set up in the area of the cafeteria closest to the playscape. We must end promptly at 10:15 to allow set-up for our lunch sessions.  Additionally, any visitors who park in the upper or lower playground areas (not the main parking lot) MUST move their cars by 10:30.

Students will bring their projects to school on Wednesday morning.  Students can bring their projects with them on their bus, but if you are dropping your child off that morning, please follow the usual drop-off procedures. It is extremely important that no cars enter the bus loop.  Students will bring their projects into the cafeteria and set them up, then join their class in their usual line-up area.  The display boards will be kept at school until Tuesday, April 8 however, any large objects and valuable items must be taken home tomorrow afternoon.

We look forward to this display of student investigation and engineering problem solving. It truly is a highlight of the fifth-grade year!
