PE: Basketball
So in P.E we had time to do whatever we wanted to do and then the teacher made us practice some skills such as dribbling under your feet and then trying to bounce the ball while laying down.
Library: Gale Elementary
We learned about a new database called Gale Elementary. We got to search up different things we wanted to know about. It will also help with upcoming projects
Music: Ukuleles
We played the song Riptide on the Ukulele and learned a new note. We have learned four notes on the ukulele.
Art: Koru paintings and cut and smudge
Koru paintings are paintings from New Zealand from the Moari people. It is really important to their culture. It had a certain amount of shapes and specific shapes. Cut and smudge
Math: Fractions
We already started a little bit of fractions at the start of the year. Now we are learning how to find equivalent fractions using multiplication and division.
SS: Middle and southern colonies
In class we are learning about the thirteen original English colonies.
Some fun facts:
In Maryland Baltimore was named Baltimore because of Lord Baltimore the
founder of Maryland.
The Carolinas were once one colony but everything that happened in each was so different they decided to turn it into two colonies.
ELA: Vision Boards
Everyone in class had to make a Vision board. We created our vision boards by quotes we follow and are inspired by. We might even be inspired by sport players etc so then we would put those on our vision boards. We could make our vision boards online or on paper.
